　B層は自分の頭で考えずに、興味のある文化人、タレント、知識人の発言をそのまま自分の意見として流用します。だから、政治家は大上段から理屈を振りかざすのではなく、「第三者の発言」を利用しながら、B層を「教育」する必要がある。

　こうした手法は新聞社もよく使います。

　たとえば、社説が載ってしばらくすると、ほぼ同じ内容の投書が読者欄に掲載されます。第三者である読者に代弁させることで、社論の補強作業を行うわけです。

　あるいは第三者を捏造するテクニックもあります。

　記事の最後に「今後波紋を呼びそうだ」「発言が問題視される可能性がある」などと付け加える。波紋を呼び起こしたかったり、問題視したいのは原稿を書いた記者ですが、こうして仮想の第三者を利用する形で煽れば、B層は脊髄反射的に激高してくれます。
